Elizabeth A. LeVan is engaged in the practice of commercial real estate law with an emphasis on commercial leasing and dispute resolution. Her practice has focused on all matters of real estate including: the negotiation and drafting of acquisition and development contracts for clients of residential subdivisions and mixed-used communities; the drafting and reviewing of lender and investor loan documents on residential and commercial properties; the handling of due diligence, zoning and title clearance issues in preparation of closing commercial and residential properties; the drafting and reviewing of commercial leasing documents; and the litigation of matters arising out of commercial leasing disputes. She received her undergraduate (B.A. 1981) and law (J.D. 1984) degrees from the University of Alabama, where she served as Managing Editor of the Law and Psychology Review, published her article, “Nonverbal Communication in the Courtroom,” and was President of the Association for Women and the Law. She is a member of the State Bars of Alabama (1984) and Georgia (1985). She is also licensed to practice in all Georgia trial and appellate courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
